Stein Valley Trip Report

A few folks have asked about some photos from my trip into the Stein Valley - see here, I have added them to the ALC Photo Gallery.

In brief:
We started the trip by stashing our packs at the base of the Lizzie Lake Forest Service Rd, near Pemberton. Then drove up over the Duffy Lk Rd and parked the truck at the top of Blowdown Pass, jumped on our commuter bikes, and rode back on the Duffy 70km to where our packs were stashed, good times - then the hiking started! We then climbed up over the alpine area and dropped into the top end of Stein Lake - then continued east down the valley, ending by climbing back up over Blowdown Pass to the truck, a human powered 70K+70K point-to-point trip over 5 days.

No bears, no people, one forest fire, and some tired legs... Enjoy the photos!
